Dr. Lon Schneider is an expert on Alzheimer’s disease and other age-related issues like geriatric psychiatry and mental health.
He holds various positions in both academic and medical fields, such as Director of the Alzheimer's Disease Center as well as Clinical Core Director of Alzheimer's Disease Research Center in the University of Southern California. Dr. Schneider was a senior author of a report published by the Lancet Commission on Dementia Prevention in 2017, which argued that Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia can be prevented by tackling childhood problems like lack of education and obesity.
